I am one of those people who believes that Valentines Day is extremely over-rated..I am not saying that i dun feel that way anymore..in fact i still do..but it is still a day in which one feels that certain need or desire to express their feelings of love and passion to their loved ones more so than any other day..
Well, we decided that Valentines Day should not be just a day and so we decided to spend the whole weekend together, getting surprises after surprises, enjoying good food and most importantly, enjoying each others company. From the start, which was my surprise for him, till the end, which was his surprise for me, it was PERFECT.
Trev picked me up at around 7-ish and drove us towards our first destination. As always, he never failed to compliment me on how i look that night. Thats one thing i love about him. He is a true gentlemen. He opens doors for me, waits for me to sit before he does..many many things..okok back to the point..he said thta his theme for this Valentine was nooks and corners..
and so we reached our destination-Vivocity
Although its a place where we normally go, he led me to this far end-CORNER in Vivocity, which i have never ever passed..well thats certainly a corner alright..haha...so we stood in front of this restaurant called WOOD. Than suddenly it clicked..i was reading the newspaper recently and there was a write up on this new restaurant WOOD where all the food the cook up is cooked on different types of wood..i was excited..walked into the restaurant and i was amazed at how extravagant the place looked..so chick chang!!!!!hahaha....well..it was fine-dining at its best i must say..he had duck while i had salmon..but we shared..it was soooooooo yummy!!!you could actually taste the wood..haha...the place was certainly gorgeous..from the lights to the scenery which was overlooking sentosa..and oh oh!! we had our own little cubicle dining area..a very intimate setting for a very intimate night..hahaha!
After dinner, he drove me to our next destination-Sentosa. Near Rasa Sentosa to be exact to a place where we had dessert..Barnacles.The scenery was wonderful, the service was excellent and the dessert was super yummilicious...!!!!!!haha..we had chocolate pudding with vanilla ice-cream ..the choclate pudding was sooo damn good...it melted as soon as it touchwed my tongue...and we also had struddle with custard and fruit fillings..YUMMY!!
After dessert, we took a stroll and ended up on the premises of rasa sentosa..we laid on the beach chairs and just took in each others company..
The night was still young so we drove around Sentosa fer awhile..the rest is a MYSTERY..HAHA!
Thanx fer a wonderful evening Trev..
Hugs.
