WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!
I am proud to say that i completed the STANDARD CHARTERED SINGAPORE MARATHON 2006 todae...10KM..Honestly,i was really uncertain that i could complete it fast enuf kuz i din have any prior training before this..haha..but although so..i have no idea how..i managed to clock in a decent timing..im proud of myself..haha..n the rest of my frens who have ran really well todae..gd job guys!Oh n we had medals to..really nice ones..wishedliyana was here to enjy it to..she would have loved the medal..
The atmosphere todae was really inspiring..as i was watching the people arnd me run..i felt the need to push on u noe...like i mean..if these people could do it..y cant i..that sorta thing..While running..me n lays spotted some funny logos behind the runners backs..some of them were damn funny like.."i drank prune juice fer breakfast this morning so stay far far awae..!"hahahha..Oh i fergt to pin mine on my back kuz we were pretty rushed in the mrning..but mine was" i'm running in loving memory of megan"...oh like i was saying..the atmosphere was superb i tell u..pple were cheering fer u..middle aged pple running damn fast..aunties uncles children grandfathers grandmothers..all walks of life could be see todae right there at the esplanade..it was such a sight when u are ruuning and behind and ahead of u are thousands of pple running fer a cause..it was great!Oh except fer the part where they lied to us la..haha..apparently its how they motivate pple to run till the finish..us ee,,while i was nearing the end..the sigh on the board put 25m left..so i was like..oh my gosh oh my gosh ...25 m left only joanne just run fast cmon!!!!!!Move that ass of urs!OH Man ya right la..it was not 25m left at all..it was soooo much mre than that..it was reallly sooooooooo much mre..haha..but tht helped me run faster la..so yea..it was great..i actually had goosebumps when i was almost at the finishing line..haha..
Lays!!!My dear lays was lost todae..immediately after the race the route marshalls kept blowing the damn whistles n pushing us to get out of the wae..so the rest of us who completed the race were at one corner of the area..we kept waiting fer lays n looking arnd..but there was no sign of her la..i kept looking fer her..everyone was..we were super worried kuz we were afraid tht something wld have happened to her..see how nice we were..so we kept on searching ns earching n walking n walkin..n finally after duno how loong thn we spotted her..i kept shouting her name out..LAYS!!LAYS!!
haha..damn funny..it was just too crowded..
k i just reached home n off to bed to get my much needed sleep..End of day 5.
